Huber Heights Launches 24/7 Multilingual Voice AI for City Services

The City of Huber Heights has launched multiple 24/7 multilingual voice AI lines, deploying AI agents across departments throughout the city: including the city's front desk, zoning, public works, parks and recreation, and more – to give residents always-on access to city services in English and Spanish.

Serving a population of more than 43,000 residents, Huber Heights receives a wide range of calls every day, from bulk trash pickup and zoning questions to permits and service requests. Like most local governments, the city operates with finite staff and finite budgets, while demand from residents is constant.

In its first few months of operation, EffiGov's voice AI has handled over 70% of routine inquiries, ensuring residents receive immediate, accurate responses while freeing city staff to focus on complex cases that require human expertise.
