San Joaquin County Mosquito and Vector Control District Launches 24/7 Voice AI for Resident Service Requests
Stockton, CA – August 10, 2026
The San Joaquin County Mosquito and Vector Control District has launched a 24/7 voice AI line with EffiGov, giving residents always-on access to report mosquito problems, request inspections, and reach district staff at any hour.
Every request the agent takes is geo-verified in Esri ArcGIS and filed as a Survey123 record, straight into the tools the district’s field crews already use, with no staff rekeying.
Serving more than 790,000 residents across San Joaquin County, the district fields a heavy, seasonal call volume, from mosquito complaints and requests for mosquito fish to green-pool reports and dead-bird questions. Like most vector control agencies, it runs on finite field and office staff while demand climbs through the summer.
The district went fully live, around the clock, on July 8, 2026, and the numbers followed fast. Calls now resolve in a median of just over a minute.
